Bernard Lachapelle is the President of The JBL Group. Before establishing the company in 2000, Bernard held Senior Executive positions with Hoechst Marion Roussel and Eli Lilly Canada. He has over 30 years of experience in Government Affairs, Pricing and Reimbursement, Managed Care, Health Policy Development and Corporate Communications as well as Marketing, Pricing and Tendering, and Human Resources.
A graduate of the Laval University School of Pharmacy, Bernard has been involved in the political process for many years and continues to serve the community in several capacities. A past Chairman of the Ballets Jazz de Montreal, Bernard is currently Chairman of the Board of Innovation Life Canada, the organization that oversees the prestigious Prix Galien in this country, and a member of the Boards of Directors of IRICoR (Centre for the commercialization of research of the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer) and the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
